Christmas Cards – Sketches “1948 & 49″

Hope you enjoy your “1948 & 1949” Christmas Card!  Fun stuff, I am taking photographs of old sketches and making them into new DMarie note cards.  My husband’s grand-father H. Walter Leavitt (HWL) loved to sketch the outdoors all 4 seasons from “1931 to 1952”.  I have many sketches to choose from because of his love of nature and hiking in the Maine woods.  The next set of cards will be Mount Katahdin (his favorite place to hike) it is the highest mountain in Maine at 5,267 feet. Named Katahdin by the Penobscot Indians, which means “The Greatest Mountain” in the Northeast.
